Prime Cut in Scottsbluff

Seems like the quality of the food has gone down over the years. If you go at Dinner time, you'll usually be met with a pretty long wait time. You won't get a better steak in town though. Some choices are better than others so you may have something you dislike but try it again and maybe you'll find something you'll enjoy. Last time I went, I got a dirty cup for my drink which ruined my appetite.

I'm glad that I've been here before because if this had been my first visit, I probably wouldn't go back. We ordered chopped sirloin medium well and there was no pink in it at all. It was well done. I still go back because I have had better dinners here before, but giving this place 4 stars might just be pushing it tonight.

Excellent food and wonderful staff! Food was cooked to perfection and owners were awesome! Rustic decor with easygoing atmosphere. Game was on too! Recommend!

My husband grew up in the area. We always have to eat at Prime Cut when we visit the in laws. Love the steak! Tried the chicken fried steak this last time and was amazing!!

Upon my first visit to the Prime Cut Meat Market I took notice of the decor. I enjoyed looking at the old tools displayed on the walls. As you approach the counter you will find the menu with prices. The initial staff was very friendly and helpful. No one told me to take a tray as you go down the line before the register. You will need the tray to help carry drinks and salads to your table or booth. Meals are reasonably priced and served fairly quick. Food was satisfactory. Some staff didn't seem friendly. Wish someone went around to refill drinks. You have to go back up to the register which can be far from your seat. Overall a good experience in a clean and quiet restaurant. I will visit again.

Lunch is reasonably priced but if you go for dinner it is a little expensive to get your own food. Food tastes great though and big portions.

This is a lot like the old Sizzler restaurant used to be. Best baked potato I have had in a long time. Steak was good too! I had the cucumber salad in vinegar. Was good, but need to tone down the vinegar with a little water. As it was, I puckered with every bite.Hubby had chicken fried steak. Circumference was big, but not too thick. Lots of breading.We were visiting the area, so we probably wouldn't be in that area again in a while, but I would definitely go back.

This place has been pretty much the same since I was a kid. Which is nice in some ways. Food is almost always great. Options are pretty standard. Home cut fries are awesome. Also Country Fried Steak is huge! Usually plenty of seating. Service is a bit different as you use a tray and get drinks at the start of the line. Then pick up your food from the heat lamps when they call your number. There is a back "fine" dining area for larger parties or events. Also you can get an ice cream cone from a self service machine which costs one quarter per cone. Though they only have vanilla now. Parking is decent but can fill up quickly.

I used to love coming to PC, unfortunately I don't think I'll return. The quality and value has slipped.

About as Old School as it gets. Good food, reasonable prices, been coming here almost 40 years.

Food is decent, price is good. The only downside is that they make their own menu and serving system pretty confusing. It confuses their new staff sometimes. It’s a self service, yet, waitresses have to clean up for you. Tips or no? Again, a bit confusing.

Absolutely won't be coming back. We ordered 2 steaks one well and one extra extra well done. The extra extra well done steak is still pink. The well done steak is not just pink, its still cool in the middle. The potato that came with the meal was good. It was one edible part of the meal. The pie was old, not good. I wondered about its appearance before I picked it up, but thought maybe I was wrong. I wasnt. Absolutely avoid this place if you can help it. I am highly disappointed, been wanting to try this place fore years and finally had the opportunity. Only to leave the majority of this $50 meal behind.

Stopped in for lunch looking for a ribeye. The only steak on the menu was a sirloin. Steak house with only one cut if steak? So I order it and was very disappointed to see that the steak is substantially smaller than the piece of toast next to it. Very small portions, not bad tasting, but definitely lack variety. I’m eating Mexican food now cause im still hungry.

Always a good place to eat but the only problem we had last time was the employees who bus tables. They were trying to take our plates before we could get to go boxes. Then took our drink glasses and were wiping the tables before we even got up to leave. Place was not busy but we seemed to be rushed out.

Same old place. Food is good. Service is good. They do need to upgrade this place it's getting very old and hard to keep clean. The bathroom is very dirty. Don't use it!

They over charge for everything! My meal the steak was overcooked! The potatoes were cold. Just overly priced and bad experience.
